I've
always wanted to make my own font but two things kept holding me back.
My handwriting would make one messy font and the complicated bit between
having the idea and actually doing it. So it took a vague notion one
moonlit evening to get the ball rolling at last. |

You are then left with a light
trail that hopefully resembles the letter you were after. FIGURE 2 shows the results for 'C'. (The additional trails are from the surface of the lake and a house light on the other shore). |

Reverse the image (FIGURE 3) and isolate the 'C' shape with Photoshops clever magic wand tool, pasting it as a new image on its own (FIGURE 4) | ||||||||||||

Capture all 26 letters plus whatever other punctuation comes to mind. You are then left with 26+ images which can then be loaded into a font creation program. I downloaded mine from High-Logic Follow the simple instructions and tweak to your hearts desire and you should find yourself with a font that you can use in almost all software applications (Word, Excel, Photoshop etc). |
